It doesn't have to be this way
Thyroid disease. It is so common. I can't even count the number of people in my immediate circle who suffer from it. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was 20. I've had it for half my life. A year ago, I was re-diagnosed with Hashimoto's. For the most part it's manageable. When my medication is right, my symptoms are minimal. Weight gain is in check. Night sweats are under control. I can actually stay awake during the day. My skin is still dry, but it's all manageable. There was forever ONE EXCEPTION. My Hair. Since I was a little girl I always had amazing hair.
